Be Equipped for Your Mission

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.

Matthew 28:19-20

You have been transformed by Jesus. You know you need Him in your life. You know the peace and joy that only He can give. You know that others — your family, your friends, your coworkers, the members of your parish — would benefit from a deeper relationship with Him. Get ready for the second part of the Good News. Jesus wants to reach them through you. He is calling you, and He has given you gifts to reach people for Him. The content below is intended to help you start living this out. Be equipped for your mission.

4 Levels of Happiness

Everyone wants to be happy. Understanding the difference between the different types of happiness we can pursue can be an important part of helping someone to seek their happiness in God. This course helps the participant understand these differences and to “live above the line.” It is helpful for personal growth and pre-evangelization with those at the thresholds of Pre-Trust and Trust.

Missionary Discipleship

We are all called to be disciples of Jesus, and the number one priority of the Diocese of Pueblo is making missionary disciples. But what does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ? What are the stages along the way to becoming a disciple? How can we help others along the path to discipleship? The material in this section will help answer these questions and will equip the disciple and the parish with some tools for making disciples. It is helpful for personal growth, for parish strategic planning, and for practical implementation of strategic goals.

Amazing Parish

Without healthy parish cultures, we will fail to help the people in the parish to become the missionary disciples that they are called to be. The Amazing Parish was established to help parishes have the healthy cultures and organizational health that they need to fulfill their mission to bring people to Jesus. Learn more about the tools that can help transform your parish into the amazing parish it can be. This material is helpful for personal growth, for parish organizational health, and for parish leadership growth.

Everything we do needs to be helping people cross the Thresholds of Conversion in becoming intentional disciples, which will in turn improve other vital areas of operations (i.e. Liturgy, outreach, collections, volunteers, youth ministry, etc.). But how do we do this? This Mission Team and the collection of tools they have assembled will help parishes accomplish these goals. This material is helpful for personal growth, for parish organizational health, for parish leadership focus and growth, and for helping parishes move parishioners through the Thresholds of Conversion to become Missionary Disciples.
